Dr. Lauren Stirling

Dr. Stirling graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southeastern Louisiana University before earning her Doctor of Optometry with honors from the UAB School of Optometry.   Following graduation from a residency program, she served as the clinical and center director for an ophthalmology referral center and as an associate doctor at Campbell Vision Center before founding Valley Eye Care in Florence.  As a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and diplomate of the American Board of Optometry, Dr. Stirling serves as the Vice President of the Board of Optometric Scholarships, and Vice President of the UAB School of Optometry Alumni Board.  She was honored as the 2020 ALOA and 2021 SECO Young Optometrist of the Year.  Originally from Louisiana, Dr. Stirling now calls Alabama home and resides in Florence with her husband, three daughters, and dog.
