Dr. Patricia Fulmer

Dr. Patricia Fulmer is a 2012 graduate of the UAB School of Optometry. After completing an ocular disease/primary care residency at the Thomas E. Creek VA Hospital, she returned to Alabama to practice in Huntsville, first as the Center Director of VisionAmerica Huntsville then as a primary care associate doctor. In 2020, Dr. Fulmer opened her own cold start practice in south Huntsville where she provides full-scope primary and specialty care to her community. Dr. Fulmer has a passion for advocacy and leadership and has served the ALOA since 2015 through her local society, ALOA Board of Directors, and Executive Board. She is dedicated to ensuring optometry is protected, advanced, and given the tools needed to practice contemporary eye care without hinderance in Alabama and nationwide. Dr. Fulmer has been married to her husband, Mark, since 2019. They currently live in south Huntsville with their tuxedo cat, Baxter, and black lab, Ares.
